Addition of small amounts of EDTA to acidified solutions of ascorbic acid, completely protects the vitamin against copper-catalysed aerobic oxidation for over 6 days at room temperature
Dissolve Ascorbinezuur and EDTA with deionized water in a 500-mL volumetric flask and dilute to volume. The solution is stable for 3-4 weeks at 4°C. 1,3% g/v
